Marcin Wiśniewski completed undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering – Building Technology and Organisation at the Cracow University of Technology followed by graduate studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering – Management and Marketing in Civil Construction at the same university.
In 1995-1999, he worked as Project Manager, Site Manager, and Deputy Chief Technical Officer at KALEM Krystyna i Lech Michnik, a construction company.
In 1999-2002, he held the position of Chief Technical Officer and Vice-President of the Management Board of KALEM S.A. In 2002-2003, he was the Manager of the Track and Construction Unit at PREFTOR S.A. In 2003-2006, he held the position of the Director of the Roads and Tracks Unit at ZUE S.A. Subsequently, in 2006, he was appointed the Director of the Projects Execution Unit. On 1 February 2007, he became the Director of the Projects Execution Unit and Vice-President of the Management Board of ZUE S.A.
Since 2014, he has been the Director of the City Infrastructure Unit and Vice-President of the Management Board of ZUE S.A.
Since March 2001, he has held unlimited building qualifications (roads, tram tracks, civil structures, bridges, tunnels, airports) and used them several times as manager in connection with construction contracts performed by ZUE S.A. He is Tram Infrastructure Director.
